Yellow TE37

I wanted to liven up the car a bit, so after several photoshops with different rim colors, I went with the closest match that I could get to the Honda/Acura RIO yellow. Had the shop also do a coat of gold flake, and then topped with one coat of clear. I don't think many colored rims match blue cars, but I saw a few pics online of a blue GTR and RSX with yellow TE37's and it seemed to work.

A pic with my daily driver Civic. The Civic has 15" TE37's powdercoated candy blue by the same shop. Those rims are only 9 lbs a rim!

Did my best to save the volk stickers. I have replacement stickers for the front of the rim coming in, hopefully soon.

A not so great pic of the gold flakes.

If the calipers were black it'd be a refreshing but clean setup in my mind.

Thanks for the comments, + and -. I knew that this was going to be a love it or hate it mod, but I wanted something to make this car stand out from the usual blue/silver coloring. The incoming blue Volk stickers will help the color theme.

Actually I was thinking about candy blue calipers with yellow brembo lettering. I had my rear calipers powdercoated last time, and it was a PITA to get that done.
