A Simple Way to Bling out your Engine Bay

With someone like me who has a small budget and trying to save for next year ( getting married ) I can only do small things at a time with my G.

I can only admire and adore engine mods and engine bays here...

But to at least satisfy myself when popping the hood I did this..

Lurk and wait if someone will part out or sell their polished plenum and throttle body.. i found someone and bought it..

I am afraid of doing a wire tuck since I have warranty on my car and to be on the safe side... I was thinking of just a engine cover. I got this carbon fiber cover for a good price. Installed and kaboom....

I still have to find a polished z-tube so it should blend well. Hey for patience + small amount of $$ my engine bay looks a bit blingy.. LOL. I went for another check on my alingment ( since it is lifetime ) the mechanics opened the hood and was surpised...it was fun seeing their reaction.. like wow.. LOL

Hopefully more to come.. Hoses, probably polished oil cans etc...

Hope you guys enjoy even though you have seen more beauty !!

Curious how much you paid for the polished Plenum? and if I should just keep an eye out for a polished plenum on here and swap, or how much it will cost me on average to bring in and get polished.

Looking good so far man. There is a lot that you can do. You can do custom colored titanium bolts, from like dressupbolts.com, you can get a colored grounding kit which adds a little bit. An oil cap, radiator cap, or even a nice looking catch can do wonders.

I would def go with the JDM cover even though it is just plastic. Looks unfinished without it.

Looks good so far. You can add more bling simply by taking a rag and some mothers polish and going over those AC lines for a few minutes. They'll shine up nicely.
