Talking Just bought my g35 coupe yesterday

So yesterday morning I went out to a local san antonio dealer who had an 2006 g35 coupe with only 12K miles! I started a thread a few days ago asking about the car, and now since I got it, want to introduce myself and show a few pics of the car and plans I have.

Name is Kevin, came from an evo x, it was a beast car but I was ready to go back into a 2 door that's still sporty but also nice/luxury, and always liked the g35 coupes, so work for me ha.

Here's a few pics I've taken already, diamond graphite, fully loaded with premium package and sport package, just no navi.

It has a fair amount of scratches, a lot of them are really light, maybe just in the clear coat so gonna see if scratch remover stuff works, but it has one ugly scuff on back bumper, but the dealer wrote in the "we owe" thing they will fix it. I also got them to renew the safety inspection for free, new battery, and free tank of gas.

Already ordered an aluminum polished shift **** from a vendor on here.

My plans for her are:
-black badgeless grille
-trade my 06 trunk/spoiler for 03-05 diamond graphite trunk/spoiler
-exhaust
-plenum spacer
-6000k hid bulbs
-paint the "rear diffuser" on the back black to match the grille I want
-tint
-? haha

Thats barely any miles... 4 oil changes. The car isnt even broken in yet!!!!

If you're in Cali.. I'll trade you trunks.. LOL but someone will take you up on that offer pretty quickly.

Thanks, yeah, gonna give her another oil change pretty soon, always have after buying a car. Gonna get it check on for basics, like the intake filter, fluids, etc.

I like the g35 with spoilers, not a fan of wingless, so hoping I'll get an offer soon for the older spoiler/trunk.

And I'm going to get rid of those side moldings, just need to find a plastic scraper to scrap it off.

I may go with a carbon fiber grille and buy a cf rear diffuser I saw on the vendor forums for pretty good price, like $350.

Also gonna be researching exhausts

12k miles?! Damn, that's a really good pickup. Coming from an Evo, I would guess you're used to a full blown performance/function beast, just some fair warning that you might be a little dissapointed with the performance aspect of the G. Nice ride, but lacks some oopmh.

As for exhaust choices, I would say HKS is one of the better ones for our cars.

Yeah but I wasn't wanting to get another car that's pure performance, made me chug gas like crazy with the evo, here I can have some fun but drive normally more, g has style and it's still sporty.

Yea, you do kind of get a little of both with the G. Always makes me smile when someone gets a new G haha. Have fun getting to know her

Thanks^, I just cant wait to make it "mine" with my mods. As the money comes, I'll be doing tint, grille, maybe cf diffuser, exhaust.

Other mods will maybe paint stockers, take off side moldings, maybe new speakers, deck (being premium bose, it gets pretty distorted, on xm I noticed today)

Already ordered a ****, and some leds and 6000k hid bulbs that are in the mail now ha.
