Goodbye G35.....

So after almost 6 years I sold my G35 last week and it's on it's way to California. Damn car was amazing and will be missed. Even being supercharged for the past almost 4 years I hadn't had a single issue with that car, it's really been amazing. I've won tons of shows, had the cover of Nissan Sport Magazine, fun cruises etc, but I did a lot to the car and I just felt it was time to move on to a new platform but she will ALWAYS have a place in my memory! So with that chapter closing I just picked up low mile '05 STI in Wisconsin and am really excited for summer now. Trying to find a low mile STI with all quality parts that hasn't been beaten on is near impossible as one might imagine but I did just that. Here she is.

Just because the G is gone I'm not going to leave here. I've communicated with some great people here and learned a ton so you're stuck with me.

Great question. You really can't compare the handling as the STI is made for spirited driving where the G is more "luxury sport." Even with the set I had on the G i.e. stance gr+, sbc, spl, hotchkis etc etc it still didn't handle like the STI. Also with awd the power is pretty nuts compared to rwd. I had a procharger on the G and it was super fun and fairly quick but the torque and just raw feeling of power kills the G. Again, not taking anything away from the G as I still LOVE them, the STI is a sports car from birth where as the G has to become one and there's just something to be said about a car that's meant to go crazy on.

Nice pickup. I was really considering one before I got my G. The only thing that turned me away was the interior. The 08+ interior is real nice but I just didn't want to spend that much.
