Not sure why Peter removed your post ^ e_nigma? We're all waiting patiently for pic of the custom trunk lid in paint. Speed, what's the hold up? Day 3 after paint and still no pic?

No Speed, it's "White on Rice!" So...Tuesday evening and no word or pictures either? You know we all appreciate your sharing this build with us but our patience is running a "wee bit thin!" Remember that for an old '30s western, Gabby Hayes used that line in one of John Wayne's first movies?

well im not gonna lie im starting to get a bit frustrated lol my paint guy went out of town to his camp for the 4th weekend and decided he wanted to finish the bottom side of my trunk to be nice like the top because who had the lid last filled in some old holes from the last spoiler and it was bugging him so he fixed them. but....... in the mean time i did do a carbon fiber wrap on my roof what ya think? i like it alot.... hes telling me by this weekend so i really am crossing my fingers this time.... ill post back soon. That is not carbon fiber, it is vinyl.

Thank you for clearing that up. When I say carbon fiber wrap, I mean wrapping in carbon fiber. When I say vinyl wrap, I mean wrapping in vinyl. I guess we just have different understandings on what carbon fiber is.

If you like the look vinyl is the way to go, once you're tired of your coupe/sedan looking like "Grandmas Quilt" you can just peal it off...Gary

If you had a real Carbon Fiber roof, you would never want to go back....
