You could do what we do with the OEM S15 Spoiler? Remove the center, cover and paint.

Anybody have any numbers on what sort of gains these Nismo upgrades will give? I love this idea, but I dont want to get only Nismo parts unless theyre all comparable with other aftermarket parts... Is it possible that using only a certain brand of performance parts causes the parts to compliment eachother, or does it not matter which brands you use, just the performance of the individual part?

Just a small update. Been pretty busy with a deployment coming up right after christmas but i found some time to do some searching and find some missing gems for the Nismo build.

Nismo CPV35 Cluster:

Nismo CPV35 Spoiler:

I will be trying to get the spoiler painted DG and installed along with the cluster before i deploy. Its gonna be a nice 15 hour drive looking at the cluster at night and staring in awe at the spoiler when i have to fuel up. hopefully i can keep my eyes off my rear view mirror for safety reasons lol. When i come back the build is def going to take off. I can't wait, I will be purchasing the JWT twin turbo kit since it has the conjoined siemese twin intercoolers, perfect for the nismo bumper. I never liked the single intercooler with the oem or nismo bumper, kind of gets hidden in the center and doesn't utilize the two openings for maximum airflow imo.

Nice those clusters are premium. Let us kno of they do indeed transfer mileage at the dealer. Lots of conflicting reports regarding that.

Also ill be looking into the dual led ring mod. Ive always been obsessed with that ever since i seen in on Smokey Nagata's V35. It looks like clearcorners.com and ledmarkers.com either are not producing these anymore, or its not the style i want. I always thought it made perfect sense to take the "square" series of led's and somehow put them in the outter ring and leave the wiring alone since those leds function the way they're supposed to anyway, plus they are the same size as the existing ring (keeps it looking quality and factory imo) I never liked how modded ones use different or aftermarket leds for the outter ring, it doesn't look good. But i came across a company, Zleds.com who are doing lots of tail light mods for the R32, R33 and other GTR's and vehicles. They have the G35 pending according to their site so hopefully they bring in a nice dual ring set. If not ill find someone and pay whatever to get these done the way i want, its a must. I will have the "square" leds completely removed and the holes filled in so when the car is off, the dual led holes sort of "pop" lol. I wish i was in japan to contact whoever makes these ones:

Obviously i want the ones in the top pic lol, the bottom is too much imo

From what I've read, the mileage gets saved on the cluster itself. This cluster is used and has about 34,000 Km. I will be keeping this car for the long run so I'm not concerned with the clusters mileage. When you do emissions in AZ they just ask what your mileage is anyways and if it differs than last year (say you tell them you have 80,000 miles when the previous year you had 100,000 miles) they just change it in their system no questions asked lol.

My thought is if a customers cluster fails and needs replacing they must have a way of replacing it and transfer the miles. Also nismo in Japan sells new clusters so they must be able to reprogram it too. Jus a thought
