Yeah i used a dremel with a cutoff wheel, but that didn't work as well as a carbide sanding drum. which is like a regular sanding drum, but instead of sandpaper it is chunks of carbide, so it never gums up or breaks off. It cuts pretty easy but makes a nasty smell and a powdery mess haha.

I bought this one here:

Took the car in to have windows retinted, drivers side window replaced, drivers side door resprayed w/ rear quarter panel blend and clearcoated, poly Nismo V3 painted, and Impul sideskirts painted as well. Should look like a new car when it comes back.

Yeah!! I just got back from checking in at the body shop 20 min ago. The paintless dent repair guy took out all the door dings and dents on the whole car (that was a pleasant surprise)! The skirts and bumper were almost ready for paint, all the highs and lows of the poly had been filled in, and the hard edges from the mold and trimming were smooth. He said they would either get primed tonight or first thing tomorrow. That leaves painting the skirts and bumper, priming/painting the door, installing new drivers side window, and going to the tint shop. If i have time tomorrow i'll go back in the evening and take some photos for sure.

Went back to the shop today, unfortunatley the parts had not been primed yet and the door had not been sanded either. Snapped a few pics while i was there, not much to see but better than nothing. I'll go back tomorow and take a few too. Also recieved an OEM upper and lower plenum set from a partout, and will be polishing those as a long term project. This way there is no down time on my car. Then ill swap them out with my current plenums, polish those and sell them.

The foam that covers crash bar helps support the bumper cover and neither needed any modification. The foam that is wedged between the radiator support and headlights both needed to be removed, and also the foam that was, if i remember correctly, under the crash bar and between the undertray and fenderliner needed to be removed on both sides as well. So, all in all, all the foam needed to be emoved except for the long piece as pictured that covers the crash bar. I'm sure you could have cut the other foam peices to fit, but they are not neccesary so i just removed them.

Yeah no kidding, I am really hoping they get it done by Tuesday! I called on Friday, and it had been primed and he was test fitting the parts again before spraying color and clear. The tint shop will probably take their sweet time too lol.
