No updates from the shop but, i picked up an upper and lower plenum that i will be polishing with my new air compressor i bought with money from selling my OEM 18's this weekend. This way, i will have no down time on my car and i can polish these as time allows. Then, i'll swap these plenums out once they are polished with the ones currently on my car. I plan on polishing them too, and selling them if anyone is interested in buying a polished set in a few months let me know!! I'll post pics once i get started.

Ogee, take the time to polish inside the plenum too. Your LR coupe will like that! What size plenum spacer are you going to include?...Gary

Yeah, i haven't researched porting and polishing the inside, does that just increase air flow? I'm thinking about the MD isothermal 5/16" spacer but im not really sure. That'll probably have to come later haha...

The MD Isothermal 5/16" is the most popular...it allows you to keep your engine cover on BUT seeing how your going to polish your plenum, you probably don't give 2 chits about your engine cover lol!

The 5/16" offers more usable power but you'll see the greatest gains up top with the 1/2".

Cant wait to see the ride!

Well i dont track my car, so it sounds like the MD 5/16" isothermal would be the most practical for me. Thanks for the info ill have to put it on my mod list for sure haha.

Your engine is nothing more than an air pump, polishing the plenum inside will naturally increase air flow! If you have a high flow exhaust/intake and MD spacer that's when you begin to make whp...and of course you'll need a Osiris tune because you'll be running lean. The increase in whp and torque will put an instant smile on your face that never goes away!

Yeah i am bone stock as far as performance goes right now. I thought about an exhaust, but i love the sound of the stock exhaust so much i dont want to change that, same with CIA or z-tube. But i want more ponies to play with haha. Ill have to do some serious research when $$$ becomes available and jump in the performance game. Right now i'm focusing on my exterior and looking good, then ill get the power to back it up. Yeah it sounds like i might as well polish the inside of the plenum too while i'm at it. I'm assuming power gains are extremeley minimal, but everything helps right.

Alright, got the car back and it looks amazing! I still need to get tint, but the sideskirts, front bumper, drivers door and drivers rear quarter panel were all painted. Ill get some pics of them installed later today when it gets light out.
