Finally lowered the ride on Tanabe DF120

Finally lowered the ride on Tanabe DF120

I've owned the car for a few years and finally took the plunge and decided to lower it. Lowered with Tanabe df120 springs and added 25mm spacers all around, surprisingly the ride comfort is pretty good.

Do you guys think I can get by without a rear camber kit? Getting an alignment done in a week.

You can get by without a front one probably. The fronts way more expensive The rear is the cheaper one especially used With used/new toe bolts cost no more than $150 tops


Ps. That's for like SPC quality ^^
SPL not so much

Might as well just buy the rear camber kit and install it ASAP. Makes no sense to get it aligned then buy and install the rear camber kit and get it aligned again. More than likely you will NEED a rear camber kit.

My tuner recommends anything over 3/4" drop, and you'll need a camber kit + toe bolts

With the amount of tires you MIGHT burn through, definitely worth it to invest in camber kit asap. The drop looks nice by the way.

Thanks for the comments guys, need your advice now.

I'm loving the stance but now I am scraping everywhere. Just found out today that my undercarriage scraps going over a speed bump. I go over the speed bump at an angle and can clear the front bumper but once the front wheels are over the bump my undercarriage just scraps. Any tips or techniques to not scrap the undercarriage over speed bumps or is it unavoidable?

It's physically impossible to keep your car from scraping. The good news is you're not scraping anything of importance. At that height, it's just your front cross-member. Not even worth being concerned.

You really aren't than low so if you don't mind dealing with some camber wear you should be able to get the toe straight. and get some wheels ffs.
