03 Skyline 350GT
Vinyl brotha. Wrapped white.
Parky great find with the Skyline! I'm amazed anyone would spend all the time making the exterior look this good and let the engine compartment turn to
? Previous owner must have had his head up his port hole not have painted the jams either? Makes you wonder what else wasn't taken care of? I'd pull the engine and do a minor rebuild and detail everything from the floor up! This Skyline deserves it...Gary
Wow you have some nice cars. Welcome and congrats on the G coupe.
A little engine clean-up and mods, and you'll be on your way. I think the white looks great, as long as it lasts.
I think I have the same aftermarket headlights as yours. Its cool, but not as functional (at least not mine). If yours is properly adjusted and aimed, then keep it.

Hey Parky, I'm in the UK with you. I've been on this forum for about 10 years now. I have my G35 in the UK with me. The guys in the US don't get to see S15's much, where as here I see them all the time. There are bunch of S15's and Skylines in my area. For the US guys, the G35 or Skyline 350GT are really rare over here. I've only seen one out and about in the 4.5 years that I have lived here. I've seen a couple at some shows, but they are few are far between. I'm registered on the Skylineowners forum too, but I spend more time here reading and posting. Anyway, I'll send you a PM with more info.
Infiniti was not even sold in Europe until very late. I don't know the exact date, but the G35 was never released in Europe. Every once in a blue moon you will see a G37, but in the UK there are only maybe 4-5 Infiniti dealerships. This year, I've seen a bigger push and better marketing, but to see any type of Infiniti model is rare all together. This is the big reason why I've kept my G35. Its unique and the car never gets old, especially when you never see them around. I lived in Germany and my German friends really liked the G35 and felt like it was ahead of its time compared to German cars. That was their opinion since they were used to German cars. I think that when something is rare it gets more appeal. I, myself, don't care for Skylines or S15s. I see them all over place. Its probably the same for you guys in the states. Also, a lot of the UK guys that have Skyline 350GTs, don't know the history with Infiniti and the comparison to BMW, Audi, and Mercs. Because it has a Nissan badge, it doesn't get compared that way. All the Skyline 350GTs are Japanese imports...meaning that a UK person or anyone in Europe for that matter, in order, to get a Skyline 350GT it would have to be imported since it was never released for sale in Europe. Since most people here are used driving a right hand drive car, a Japanese import is easier.
I would say its popular but you don't see many on the road. I see very few 350z's here. I went to a 350Z meet last year and there were a few drivers in there 20's, but most were in there 40's and 50's. I think it has something to do with the way insurance is calculated. Its definitely an older crowd of people that drive a Z. The Skyline 350GTs are in the same boat though. Most of the owners are in their upper 30's if not 40's and up. All the people I've met are above 40 years of age that drive a Skyline 350GT. I've never seen anyone under 30 driving this car in the UK. Normally that age group are into hatchbacks here.
Djhiro, I've replied to your pm
I spent a few hours giving the engine bay a good clean up, it was fiiiiilthy in there.
Does anyone make / sell a panel that covers over the hood / bonnet catch? Usually called a cooling panel or something similar..?
