03 Skyline 350GT

Hey people,

I just picked up a 2003 Skyline 350GT on tuesday and thought I'd stick up a few pictures and update as it goes. The overall plan is to keep it functional, so it won't be getting slammed, and I'm happy with the power so will be leaving that alone too.

I bought it with the following spec;

5 Speed Auto
Vinyl wrapped white
Paddle shifters
5/16" skunk2 plenum spacer
350Z intake pipe
3" dual cat-back / decats (not sure what brand)
20" Stance SC-5ive wheels.
BC coilovers
Uprev map
Carbon grill
HKS earthing kit
Satn nav swapped for UK version

First jobs will be to give it a deep clean, the engine bay needs a good sorting out, battery covers need sourcing.
Brake calipers need a scrub and painting.
I'm not 100% on the headlights, I might go back to OEM.
Thinking about taking the vinyl wrap off and taking it back to silver, and I'm considering going down to 19" wheels, looking at Hardiritt Ordens, or possibly Work CR-2P.
The stereo unit needs changing for something I can plug the phone into so I don't have to listen to the radio all the time.

Anyway, some pictures. Look forward to some feedback. Thanks.

Welcome to the G community! You plan on dressing up the engine bay or just a cleaning?

Thanks guys. Over the moon with it so far.

I'm planning on both buddy, clean first and then assess afterwards! I'm still doing a lot of reading up on what's available. Starting simple, I think I need battery covers, cover that stuff up!

This is my other car, plan to get the G up to this standard.

Cheers for the welcome guys.

Done the 1st basic mod today, changed the stock intake pipe for the 350Z pipe, very very easy. Not been out in it yet but will find out the difference tomorrow, booked in for a dyno power run with a local club so I'll report back with a printout tomorrow

Oh, crap. I just noticed the door jam too. Is this not a real white on black coupe? That door jam looks like DG or something.

Parky great find with the Skyline! I'm amazed anyone would spend all the time making the exterior look this good and let the engine compartment turn to ? Previous owner must have had his head up his port hole not have painted the jams either? Makes you wonder what else wasn't taken care of? I'd pull the engine and do a minor rebuild and detail everything from the floor up! This Skyline deserves it...Gary
