He spouted a bunch of BS and hasn't posted in a while. And no there's no way he got close. You pretty much have to seriously build a motor or go FI to get over 300 to the wheels. Nissan did a damn good job engineering our motors from the factory to get almost as much power as they could from the DE.

Exactly why I was giving him ****. I've read the build sheets of the few that have gotten 300 whp and it is not done simple with bolt ons and a tune, and a lot of the time the HP is from "lightening" parts like pistons, rods, pulleys, clutches, etc. so some of that can be counterintuitive because now you're reducing mass, so your money would be better spent on a turbo and simple 8lb boost safe tune. You'd have more power, probably cost less would be way less work and way more fun. Trying to get 300hp out of an NA VQ is a silly endeavor really.

Lol I havent been on here in forever. Havent gotten on the dyno yet. Got cracks around the bolt holes on my V+ plenum causing leaks. Havent been able to seal it properly. Also LMT just posted dyno sheets today of a fully built DE making 322hp after the 4in intake install. Original numbers were 292 HP tuned. Haters gonna hate but I appreciate my fans keeping this thread bumped. Appreciate it!

I would think on these 04's that getting 300HP isn't very hard and on rev's it's even easier lol and doesn't cost a lot, 300whp....LOL good luck, FI is the path you would need to take

Are any of you guys on the facebook pages? Tons of people getting 300hp staying NA lol. Its not hard

Also another update, got a new OEM plenum which I paint matched, new OEM plenum gasket since mine was all warped and bent (Probably because of too much horsepower, thats for you scragglerocks. Those hood spacers do wonders), and a 5/8 plenum spacer. Installing tomorrow then sending off my data logs to get retuned on the new setup and then off to the dyno where I hope to be in the 270ish area. Also for even more great news, my RPM longtubes which ive been waiting 4 months for are about a week away from being shipped. Oh and installed coilovers today
