UPDATE

So I installed the new oem plenum gasket, blox 5/8 spacer, and oem plenum (that I painted). Car ran amazing, so happy to get some logs to get her re tuned. Unfortunately today while driving, SES light popped on, and its the same P2A00 code. The same code I was dealing with with my kinetix plenum and the reason why I replaced it. Starting to think its just the sensor, what are your thoughts on this? Waiting for my engine to cool down and re torque all the bolts and check everything again

DYNO ON FRIDAY

Finally hitting the dyno. Have the car running great. However there is a catch. The tune on the car right now was for my old V+ plenum. I now have an OEM plenum with 5/8 spacer. I sent new logs off to get retuned but if I dont get them back in time, ill be on the dyno with the old tune. Not sure how much itll help or hurt but at least ill see where my car is right now.

So as I suspected. I guess not having an updated tune and 83% humidity does mess with dyno numbers.

An updated tune isn't going to change those numbers upward 48 horsepower, more like 4-8 HP. And humidity is good; water in the air adds more boom to the combustion. It's why NASCAR and Indy car qualifiers love to go right before it rains.

lol I know that. I was only expecting up to 265. Thats comparing to other guys ive seen with similar mods as I have. So thats why I said not getting it retuned for the new plenum really messed it up more than I thought. I still have a lot to do before coming near or anywhere near the 300 mark. My goal is to get as close to it as possible

What are you planning for mods to get there?

I have RPM longtubes on the way, have been shipping them out so should get mine soon, ported upper/lower plenum, ported intake runner, then cams. After that ill literally have every bolt on lol so if I dont get near 300 after the cams then its whatever. Ill throw on the ZEX nitrous kit I have sitting in my trunk lol

You could do direct port nos when you have the machining done... Then you'll definitely hit 300. Probably would want to keep it to a 50 shot or something. You should get a dyno tune after the cams and all of that, then street tune after if needed. The nos is a different story. You'll want someone who has done that before I would think

Definitely I was looking more into the direct port and think I wanna go that route. Yeah Ive been doing street tuning through Pat at LMT. Recording logs, sending them off and receiving the tune.

UPDATE

So after speaking to Pat over at LMT (guy who makes the intakes and tunes my car), he actually informed me that he tuned my car back from the last set of logs I sent him because the knock sensor detected some knock and wanted to see what was causing it and not let my **** blow up lol. So with the new set of logs I sent and the new tune waiting to be received, I should 100% be seeing numbers in the 260s
