Chris, don't let a bunch of us dweebs discourage you... lord knows I'm totally into "different"...

I think its kinda cool - like I said, the headlights are good (imo) and I think the grille would compliment them with a slightly different color.

Typically I don't like flat painted grille (I prefer gloss black over flat black)... but in this case maybe a flat BG instead of gloss would work better? But I still like the idea of ashy charcoal grille with those lights.

In any event, black grilles are everywhere and really not unique at all anymore - so I think you are on the right track with what you are doing

maybe gunmetal would be sick with some gunmetal wheels, Chris i think you're vicariously living your fantasy of the Battleship Gray paintjob from your other thread by getting BG accents at least haha

Nah, I'm not discouraged, if I wanted to proceed with it, I would. I don't think I'll be doing this color change cause I like my black roof too much and would need to get rid of it to pull this off. Just throwing it out there for someone who has gone the black accent route yet (fully) and sway them towards a different look from the rest.

BigC is biased and has a hidden agenda I think lol

Yeah, in the end, black does work, thats why I did it with red bbk...the norm, safe route.

Mike, you definately went unique and for my tastes, it all worked out. Great execution

lol...I am, definately. I think I'm leaning towards that Sport grey on the Porsche now though. It seems to be best of what I want. It's still going to be a while before I do a the paint and with FI lingering in my mind now, who knows what I'll end up with

^ Hella addicted indeed lol. You're not afraid of blowing up your motor with FI with the high amount of miles you have? or you'd be rebuilding the motor?
