That was a protective film for the tint for making the template. It was peeled off when the tint was layered on the inside of the windows.

For that money he wouldn't be scratching up my tint making a template.

Also I forgot to mention the tint carries a lifetime warranty against fading, bubbling and everything else in between.

Yeah bro, $450 for some tint (ceramic or not) is a little steep. But in the end, you're the one who has to be pleased with the final product. If you think it was a well-spent $450, then congrats.

I got the two front windows on my FX35 tinted with Formula One ceramic (35%) for $140. They quoted me $330 for the entire G35, but I went with some metallic tint for less.

I checked around for Huper Optic and price is super steep...I m kind of learning why cost that much from other material...
Other material such as 3M using hundreds of thin layer to reject heat while huper optik using ceramic...
I found super dart deal for huper optic, they qouted me for whole car G35 and cost $275.... ....I m very interesting to spend extra $100 for that huper optic since LLUMAR or 3M products will cost around $175...
Let me check and see their store first and if everything good and if I ever install huper optik with them for the bargain price and I ll be more then happy to spread the good words to you all....so everyone happy and lookin good in the car...I ll keep it post and pictures once is done....
Thank you so much for pictures and comments....

I got ceramic because it has the best heat rejection and so my cell phone doesn't have any problems working in the car and for a radar detector.

that kind of sounds like you blew $450 for a good job.....since you did not blow $450 for a f'ed up job. Interesting choice of words. Seems a bit steep to me. That's like 3% of what you paid for your G.
