My first Mod- Installed Tein Basics

Hey guys, I just wanted to share with everyone my first modification. I bought my sedan just a couple months ago and I've had the mod itch since.

Here it is stock height.

Tein Basics...

Front...

Rear...

Here's the results....

Very nice, how much did you lower it F and R? Any plans for wheels?

Its been lowered approximately an 1-1/2" in the front and approximately 1" in the rear. The rear is slightly higher and I may need to lower it just a tad bit.

Hopefully soon enough I can gather up some cash and put on a set of 19" Volk Sf-Winnings in Mercury Silver.

As far a ride quality....its a bit stiffer than stock, but its bearable. I like the sportier feel.

Thanks for your comments!

Looks good. You will notice it alot more once you get the Volks and bring the rim out to the fender.

So far I'm set on Mercury Silver. I was thinking about Gunmetal, but I'm not sure if that would be a good look with Diamond Graphite. What do you guys think?

Very nice mod for a 1st one. Did you do the work yourself? I know that swapping suspension parts is a pain in the butt, esp. the front ones.

Yup, did the work in my garage. The DIY instructions from this site was very helpful. As long as you have the right tools, you'll be able to do it yourself easily. I use to have a '93 Honda Civic and i'd say this was an easier and faster install.
