i had the limitations of the Akebonos vs. a "true" BBK explained to in great detail when Scott was developing the 2pc rotors for them. his 2pc rears are the only one that address the thickness issue by adding a spacer to the center of the caliper.
I haven't priced Wilwood brakes lately. I have them on my sentra and they annoy the **** out of me because they are noisy as hell, so not sure I would want them on my G...
I am aware of what the akebono kit will set you back and even with 2 pc front rotors still cheaper than most bbk's on the market.

I'm not aware of this explanation in detail, but it helps to understand the logic and what I was asking for the entire time.

yeah, when compared to a Stoptech 4/2 setup it's still defiantly a bargain. i'm not against them at all, i'm sorry if that's how it came off. i love what you did w/ur Akes. in the end though, they're an OEM retrofit. i never considered my Brembos a "true" BBK either, doesn't mean i didn't love them or that they weren't good enough for me, they just were what they were.
