I got a lot of suggestions after I posted my first pics.

Search under my screen name, I believe it was Critique My Ride for original pics.

Most suggested I drop it and paint the sills. I painted the sills for now but I'm still researching the drop.

Latest work: Fixed the scratch on side door and the dent in the bumper. Painted the sills and blacked out the backlights. Also painted black the clear corners. $900 bux including parts, plus the guy will do my front headlights but he'll do that after he researches how to take apart and paint the housing.

I'll send more pics later on. I was hoping the taillights would be a shade lighter, but the darker look started to grow on me and I like it. I was worried about it looking too ghetto lol, what you guys think?

I think the dark tailights work...especially on OB. Since you are going to do the headlights, are you also going to black out the grille (and leave the emblem chrome)? I think that would go well with the theme. Small touches of chrome...I like it. Great start

Def need that drop. Get a set of Tein Basic coilovers and call it a day.

I personally would also remove the I N F I N I T I letterings.. maybe even consider getting rid of the doggy door for a newer trunk

 

FYI...if you remove the inifinit emblems, there are indentions where each letter is. You'd have to get them filled if you wanted it to be smoothed out.
