That is not correct. The sedan is lighter. According to Edmonds, the 2004 sedan weighs just under 3400 pounds and the Coupe weighs in at about 3425. They list the 2004 350z at about 3300 lbs.

I weighed both my 2003 350z and 2004 G35 sedan and the sedan weighed about 50 lbs. more. Both had full fluids and about a 1/4 tank of gas. I have never personally seen a Coupe weighed.

Can't remember. Some wiki thing a while back when a colleague was comparing the weight of my car vs his Ford 500.

Looks good but I dont' know if you can justify spending that much time and money to get everything looking nice. What I did was just hack up the top secret front bumper for the coupe to fit my sedan. Much cheaper that way but yours is nice nonetheless.

Yea but its the fact that now he can take ANY coupe bumper and throw it on his car, you on the other hand would have to hack up another bumper lol. Besides, the headlights make it worthwhile, stay tuned for dual projector headlights with a lil bit of blue and gun metal in them.

there was a big article about it years ago between some auto magazine and nissan corporate. Road going coupes are usually heavier than their counterparts due to the extra reinforcement needed by the longer coupe doors and fenders. This applies to 3 series bmws as well. The short, stubby rear doors and quaters panels adds criticle rigidity to the chassis.
