Tried searching but didn't find too many post that had coilover reviews so thought i would post here.
If you had a $1000 to spend on coilovers for DD (slammed but something comfy) and no track use, which coilover would you get?
Tein Basic or BC?
Megan seemed to be a good price but some ppl didn't like the ride quality. K sport seemed to be in that price range also but i don't see to many ppl running that setup.
Opinions will be greatly appreciated.

BC Racing and Megan Racing are pretty much identical. It's the same minus a few parts on the BC being a lil better. Don't go with the Basics as they won't go as low and you can't adjust dampening.Originally Posted by Johnnyone

Look into the Eibach coilovers. I believe they are KW Variant 1's with dampening. They will probably give you a smoother ride than BC or megan as well. If you wanna stretch your budget a tad more, I'll be selling my HKS Hypermax III's (non-sport) very comfy ride and will get low, for quite cheap.

What are your thoughts on the z eibach springs they would give me a 2" drop on my sedan and the spring rates are initial/final front 296/384 initial/final rear 316/421.
Tanabe NF210 Series 350Z progressive springs would give me a 2.2”/2.2” drop
Spring rates in LBS 314/353.
The stock z spring rates are Front:314 Rear:427
Is the higher the spring rate the stiffer the ride?
Wondering if these springs would effect the life of z shocks?

No prob... and yes the higher the spring rate, the stiffer it will be. I heard that the Tanabe is not all that great from a couple people but some people like them. I'd go with the Eibach springs. I personally haven't used springs so I can't really talk much about them.

Stance LX.. Ive been pretty happy with mine, including the ride comfort, as long as you are dumped. you cant get anywhere near stock ride height in the rear with them tho, cuz there wont be enough travel in the damper.. but who buys coilovers to ride stock height anyways =POriginally Posted by Johnnyone

370 wheels look sick, are you running spacers?

Its GF, under parking lot lights. Took many different angles, in different color settings. This one just shows the flush stance of the rear.
Rears are 19x10 +30 offset 275/35/19 Nospacers
Fronts 19x9 +47 245/40/19 When dropped the car down, Front rims sat on the front struts, Car wouldnt even move. So I had to run 15mm in the front.
But will be droppin lower on H&R springs, and i'll be lookin into 20-25mm spacers in the front.
