Have you thought about color matching the front factory splash guards? IMO the bumper still looks like it sits a bit lower than the sides, and the splash guards would finish it off nicely, I am a bit biased though

edit: I just looked at the pix again, the front doesn't sit lower, but it always looks like it does, maybe because of the flare...hmm...I still think the front splash guards would look nice though
You re absolutely right!!! And yes, the splashguard are painted, they are sitting in the garage... I concur - the front of the bumpers edge (front wheel well) is a little more forward where the OEM curves back a bit... and I think it gives the illusion that it is lower...

Lately I have been heavily considering putting the splash guards on... I think I will and see how it looks.

As for the caps - did you get my PM?... I have a set that I might not use (waiting for a different set)... and I don’t think the paint thing is going to work (but I'm still waiting)... If the set I have fits yours you can have them when I get the new set (the ones I have are new too)... Anyway, I'll keep in touch in the PM when it’s all finalized and we'll get you hooked up with something.

Mike, whatever you do, DONT put the splashgaurds on before the shoot! IMO it ruins the lines of the car. I'd rather have the front bumper look a tiny bit lower than ruin the lines by adding the splash gaurds.

no prob... I'll keep 'em off for now... I need to re-badge the rear though...

While were on the subject - I had the window trim re-painted a different color - man I should have waiting for the wheels because its too light I think... Its gunmetal but up close and in bright light it looks like a poor attempt at color match, which it is not... its suppose to be a moderate shade of gunmetal...

Also, I had them paint the mirror bezel body color and now I'm wondering if I should do it the color of the window trim

Anyway - if I'm going to change it I want to do it soon, before pics... can you guys take a look and tell me what you think of the current color... I really would like it to closer match the wheel color - but I also don’t want to keep taking these pieces off... let me know what you think please...

Wow those rims look really good on your sedan, this is probably the first seeing CE28N on a sedan. The 4 month wait is well worth it.

Mike I never got your PM, if you have an extra set, I'll take them and stick em on to see how they look Would you mail them to me or you want me to pick up from you? Either way works with me..

To answer your question about the window trim......I think they are a pretty damn good match to your wheels now. Since they are far apart, you can barely tell your wheels are darker (and thats only if you look hard at it and stare). I think you should keep it the way it is right now, the contrast between the bezel and the trim makes them really pop. the paint looks to be holding up pretty well right now, i wouldn't get them repainted unless you have a great hookup.

wheels just under 19 lbs... tires Toyo T1R (which are 26 lbs)....

I picked up the OEM wheels, tires and brake rotors today... damn those b!tches (rotors) are heavy! I didnt really consider weight savings when I get the new rotors - but the new are deff lighter... I wish I had weighed them both.

I say keep the window trim that color, but dont paint the bezels that color. Maybe do something with the outside of the door handle?

no - I don't like the banding idea... the bracket I got didn’t work (the OEM stem did not fit through the mounting hole)... I ended up painting the OEM (collar that screws down) black - got the look I was intending to do with the Volk stem and TPS bracket anyway...
