My 05 G35X in HDR!

Photographer friend took some pics and these are the samples he gave me so far. All comments are welcomed and appreciated, I know I need to lower it! Next on the list is some tint and new tires for this winter.

Here are a few of my Bike he took earlier...before he purchased the Photomatix Program, hence the watermarks.

The photomatix program allows you to overlay all 3 images creating the vivid image that is HDR!! After that is done you can fine tune the picture. I have learned that a tripod is best for this as any difference in the pictures shows up and ruins the shot. Also a quality camera is not required but highly recommended for this as most standard digital cameras end up with a grainy final picture. My photographer likes to create an image that is still "real" looking and brings out all the colors vividly. Alot of times people end up with a cartoon effect which I don't personally like.

Very nice. Still trying to understand how to do this (and use my camera for that matter).

Awesome!

For HDR noobs you can do it with a single photo but you will have mixed results. Best thing is to get photomatrix and play around with it, oh and it works much better if your camera can take RAW images and has auto-bracketing.

Here is one I did with a single jpeg:

Before Processing:

After Processing:

I agree with you about the colors coming through too strong in post processing. There are so many variables to play with that it is all a matter of preference when it comes to HDR. I like when the pictures are cleaned up and still look realistic. I am trying to get together with my photographer buddy again to take new pics with the car lowered and tinted.

Good luck getting it lowered. There seem to be many ways to do it but none with a manufacturer made system for the 'X'. I haven't heard too many people that have done it and been happy, lots change back to stock in despair. I would love to lower mine too.

Ummm I already lowered the car on 350Z springs and love the ride. I am running 350Z Rear struts and the stock G35X fronts. The fronts are a little soft for the springs but that can be addressed next spring. First up is a proper Camber kit for the Front and Rear. Snow season is about to begin here and I need to make sure my winter tires last.
