Nickk6's G35 Sedan - Autocross @ CA Speedway

I went to the Toys4Tots show and track event today. I got to autocross my car for the first time, had a blast! I saw another 1st gen sedan there that I knew I had seen on driver before, but couldn't remember his name (until I talked with him afterwards). I decided to snap a few pics at the very end of the day of his ride; sun was already too low in the sky to capture great shots, but these give you an idea of how much fun we had today.

Nice meeting you Nick, and great driving man! Congrats on the best run of your group for Nissans. You've got a very sick ride, can't believe you are going to be boosted with a new block in a few weeks....sweeeeet!

Thanks Janik. My car handled great. Riding with Zack (zackt69) before I ran was prepared me mentally to push my ride to the limit, Zack drives with no fear So when I got there I had planned on going easy for the first couple of runs, but I ended up letting her rip from the first turn on the first run. I took out a few cones on the way , but I never spun out or lost control. RareJDM rear strut tower bar, Stillen sways, NRG strut bar, Tokico D-Specs (2 turns from full stiff), Eibach Pro Kit Springs and Wilwood BBK are a great combo. I could see how I would benefit from a nice set of coilovers though...I'll add that to the list

Awesome pics Marcus! Very nice car Nick... you were doing great out there! I was stoked that I beat your time, and then you posted up a lower time lol.

Marcus, had a great time out there with you today... I dont know why neither of us had our cameras out to take pics of each other running - too much fun being on the track I guess Next time for sure!

Probably took a bit of life out of my tires, but not much. I already wiped off the tiny scuffs on my front lip from the cones, came off very easily. Go for it, its a lot of fun, not much you can do on an autocross to mess up your ride.

Zack I had a blast riding and driving with you. Man, that was too much fun!

We should have planned that better, our minds were on driving and not on taking photos. Definitely we'll plan to shoot each other's rides next time (and get some vids too).

Thank you again Marcus. I've been wanting action shots of my car for years and just never done it. I really appreciate you posting them up to. They look awesome.

Just to clarify something funny, I actually let my friend drive my car on the last 2 runs, so I am not the asian guy incase you guys see me at another meet, thats my friend, I am only driving that first shot where you can't see my face.

Thanks Nick. I did notice that you were not driving in most the decent shots I got. This is your face on the left though right, looks like you were having a lot of fun!

He's running the RareJDM rear strut tower bar, Stillen sways, ARC strut bar, and Tein Basics.

Looks like a ton of fun. I really need to move to the other coast.

Is it expensive to go to the track for the day?
