New mod: Front splash guards on the back

It's not a mod for everyone because a lot of people don't like splash guards. I like the splash guards because I think they give the car a lower appearance. I simply ordered an extra set of front splash guards and mounted them on the forward portion of the rear wheel well.

Yes, they are subtle (which I prefer), but they're more obvious in person. Black is just such a hard color to photograph. The reversed guards teamed with the rear guards gives the appearance of a slightly more flared out rear wheel well.

Excellent!

I love it. From looking around (and I curse all of you for filling my head with thoughts that I should do anything to change my car), I have really liked the Impul sides. I was looking to see if they had that for the 06 Sedan. I was thinking about how that might work on my car. It was the splash guards that made me wonder. The impul is just a more elegant transition to the same effect that you made. I like what you did. I will probably order a pair to add as you did. I like the look.

So, should you try another set of backs to see how they look on your front bumper? HEHEHE That would have to be too low, right?

You know, it is funny that you did that. I was looking at doing it. I remember commenting to my brother about it that I thought it looked like it should be there for the symmetry of the sideskirt. I looked at the back one though. I was sure it would cover the back door. I guess I measured it off the wrong one: Or, I can't do this because it is a difference in our models. I will check it out though.

Interesting how that looks. I'm a little torn but it looks good in black I guess. Do you have the Areo sides also? It doesn't look like it but I couldn't tell.

I have to be honest here and say I do not like it! It makes it too busy back there. That is just my opinion so if you like them, that is all that matters.

I prefer the silver center caps because it gives a bit of contrast with the wheel plus when I sell the car I'll easily be able to go back to the stock color with a simple spray job on the rim. It's my winter setup. I can accept the car being dirty now
