New Around Here

Hey all, just picked up my G35x on Friday and just joined up here yesterday. I have always modded my cars but not sure if I'm going to do much of anything to this but we'll see, right now I'm broke from buying it! I'm not much for financing/leasing so I bought it outright. Anyway, what are some basic stock mods that will just give the car a little bit of a cleaner look. It's an '04, dark blue, tan interior with a spoiler...so recommendations would be appreciated!

I'm not going for any performance mods, just got out of a 2000 Mustang GT with serious work done to it, so I'm looking to keep my completely quiet ride. Anywhere to get clear corners? Any other recommendations along those lines?

oh... RareJDM.com has the JDM ones, or you can try riversideinfiniti.com

You should lower your car on some 350Z springs... It makes for a cleaner ride!

Hmm, I was thinking of picking up the stock navigation, maybe the newer headlights, and some of the new G37 wheels (if they fit, I'm too lazy to use the search, as I always have been on every forum I've been on)

Sorry, again, not into the search thing and since you're here...which DD nav do people use mostly?

I thought there were some bi-xenons or something like that, that can just replace the stock ones?

And, my best friend just got a G37s and I know he may want to pick up new wheels, so maybe he'll help me out. Or maybe the M35/M45 wheels would work? I'm not sure, still mulling through ideas

congrats on the purchase! i laughed at the 1st post when you said "not sure if I'm going to do much of anything to this". that's what i thought too. if you spend much time around here you'll be modding before long. good luck. remember, use the sticky's and search function - lots of info on g35driver!

DD Navi depends on your preferences... You will need the JDM Cover for the DD... Riversideinfiniti.com has them...

Bi-Xenon are only on the 07+, you always upgrade you fog/high-beams to HID bulbs...

G37 Wheels... Good Luck they look sick on our cars!

you'll need 10mm spacers (at a minimum) and longer studs all around for them M35/M45 wheels. I had them on and it definitely makes the g35 look nice. Unfortunately the tires wore down to the wires and so i went back to stock sport 18's cause i had plenty of tread left on them and didn't want to spend too much money on the 19" inch tires. They are sitting at my cousin's house due to storage issues at my apartment.

Cool now I know what the actual color code is, Twilight Blue. Yeah I love the color and I absolutely love the car. I spent $17,500 out the door with the CPO and 46k so I think that was a pretty good deal...but now I'm pretty much out of money (paid for it straight out) so no modding for awhile unless I can get my friend's G37S wheels off of him.
