Question, I don't want to jack the thread but I don't want to make another on the topic of tinting.

I am getting my windows tinted on Monday, my buddy (the guy who's tinting them) suggests to use the metal tint, my last car just had regular tint. Does the metal look lame? It's protects against UV better but does it look ricey? He showed me a van that had it done and it looked lighter than the 18% that it was.

Just to make it clear, this is not a silver tint job just the type of film is the metal UV protection, and makes the sun reflect.

Bump! Getting tints done Wednesday. At this point, going with 20% rear windshield, then 35% all the way around (excluding front windshield, won't do that). If anyone else has any pictures to persuade me otherwise, show me!

just do 35% all around. No point in getting the rear darker. It'll look much better all even

I've had tint on all of my vehicles and have only gotten a $20 fix it ticket once, but then again I was speeding so he tacked that on as a bonus lol. Any way I would say put on which ever tint percentage that you can comfortably drive at night. I don't know the percentage I have, I just told him to do limo all the way around. The windows are dark as hell at night but look bitchin during the day. Plus I usually drive with my windows down here in sunny southern California, at least, they are down when a cop is near.

I have 35 front and 15 rear. Certain angles show more contrast than others.

Twilight- Its amazing what a little tint can do..
Like night and day!

What springs did you buy?
I am currently shopping for some rims and springs...

Orion- Black and Blue looks sick! Thought about it but I punked, I am in another direction now.. Mainly cause I could not have front tints here in Chicago, thought that would kind of ruin the flow..
