if you have some lowering springs that arnt H&R, who gives an F post it anyways with what kind they are!!!!! I want to go from this... to lower!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! |
how low do you want to go?
i had h&r for sedans, but i have coilovers now though. but if i had to do it again, i would purchase h&r for coupe or 350z to get even a lower drop. |
No Coils Just Springs

well take a look at this picture... stock height... now imagine being able to slip just a few fingers if not just one in between the wheel well and the tip of the tire (stock rims 17'' or 18'' & tires) I am also thinking about going low pro nittio tires if it will make a look difference.
Input, Thoughts, Recommendations PLZ.... I was thinking H&R but a buddy of mine at Show Stoppers USA is pointing me towards Tein's for a big spring drop....http://showstoppersusa.com I am thinking that in order to get what I want, I am going to have to go coil overs but that isn't in the deck of cards. So if anyone who has JUST SPRINGS and it makes a noticeable difference, PLZ post PICTURES from side front and angle... if possible Thank you, and I hope I see some G's on springs!DOMO |
there's a lot of contenders out there for springs and coilovers. For the sedan, for myself, the Eibach/Teins had a weird look on the drop. It looked like the front didn't drop as much as the back. The H&R had a much better drop IMO. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
The H&R sedan, will give you a modest drop. If you want to go a little bit more, get the H&R for the coupes, and if you wanna go even more, get the H&R for the 350z. H&R is usually a bit more expensive compared to the other typical spring manufactures, even used. I'll look for my old pics. You can look at Ttrank's old pictures, he used to have H&R sedan springs before getting coilovers. |
I'm on 07 z suspension/springs with coupe springs in the rear. Gave a nice subtle drop, but really improved handling and overall look of the car. It may not be as low as you want, but it's a cheaper alternative. I would pick up some coilovers this season, but decided to sell the g and get my e46 m3. Here's some shots

One thing you may want to take into consideration is the snow factor and how low your car can be dropped.
Does anyone have pics of a X w a drop kit who lives in a snowy area? I want to drop but need to figure out what will work best for me. |
