having looked at these foam things, aren't they a bit too 'flappy' and flexible to actually be any use? Won't they flap about when you are driving?

Quote: Only thing I am worried about is that at high speed it's gonna fly off lol I don't use the highway a whole lot so I should be ok!

I might put 2 or 3 screws in just in case the tape fails, I won't lose my lip
mine has been tested at over 120mph and it still there

You got nothing to worry about and you should have used gray double side tape.

Yeah... Mine has that stupid bit that sticks down, and only leaves you with maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch to work with. Which tape did you use as well? It seems to look OK, so might give it a go, I'm just not convinced it's sturdy.

i just did this today and i had trouble getting it to stick at first. so i scrubbed the rubber part with a scrubbie sponge to help the tape stick better, as well i scrubbed the bottom of the bumper and used the 3m super heavy duty exterior mounting tape and it worked great!!
now after it sets a while, i'm going to go over where some of the grey tape side is showing with a black marker....

Nice, I didn't have any trouble with it not sticking though. Mine was super sticky.

I put some gorilla glue on the corners and the middle just to hold it in place a little.
