The Process Begins....
I never did a DIY. I figured no one else would want to spend the time and aggravation attempting to do it with spray paint.
This is a basic idea of what it takes.
Sand everything 220 then 320
clean
prime a few light coats
sand 320
clean
prime again
sand 600
clean
using a lacquer spray paint flat black paint a thin coat ( make sure its lacquer along with your primer )
allow 30 minutes to dry
paint another light coat
let dry
do this about 5 times.
allow at least 48 hours to dry in room temperature dry condition
I then put them in the oven at 210 for 10 minutes
let dry fully another day
then began sanding with 400 to 600 to 800 to 1500 to 2500
^ this is the hardest part you need to keep it even and just remove the orange peel but not sand through the paint
after it is all smoothed semiglass apply polish and let it sit and apply wax the next day.
It is a ton of work , but if you want more info i can try to make a DIY when i get time
i need a quick opinion. I have to get new lugs and idk what I should get I love neo chrome but idk how that would flow with black everything.
So options are neo chrome extended, or open end black or red. Someone help me make my mind up asap please going to get them in like an hour.

I like McGard black chrome spline drive...
but it seems like you have a source for specific type... without pics of the ones you mentioned I cant help (other than the ones I mentioned look good).

^^^ man that's a toughy... I'm not a fan of open-ended... but I like the black chrome... I take it you cant get the closed-end in black chrome? (or black, whatever they are calling it)... I wouldn't do red
If not, the neo-chrome might not look bad since it will be recessed a bit anyway (what wheels are these going on?)

the neo chrome is iffy , but it might work really hard decision and yeah the closed are out of stock.
^^^ I guess red could be okay since you have the time attack stripe and if you are keeping the tail lenses red...
I just think open-ended look too raw for this car...
Do you have to use these choices?

keeping the tails the same , but I plan on repainted the wheels so no more time attack. I think I'm just going to have to wait to get some closed black lugs. The red would look to ricey I think and the neo chrome is so 50/50
I think waiting is the right decision... your car screams for closed black...
closed black. As in a black lug that as an end so you can't see the lug bolt in the center.
