@Heist, thanks for the response. And your vehicle is way cool, hope to get somewhere near "there" myself one day...

ok, i have a couple more noobie questions. does the 2004 sedan have two cats? i found someone selling a Crawford HFW, "passenger side." If I have two, I now have to buy a second HFC, a driver side one? So everywhere I'm seeing cats sold for our cars, they are really selling a pair?

IF you go grey, do the BMW dark graphite color I posted awhile back. I would love to do a color change...would good with a very deep dark, almost black red with blood red metallic.

Yeah I really like that color and it makes the lines so crispy. If I'm going to put myself through doing this again I want to do something worth it and really take my time.

It's ok man...you should see my car. No front bumper, 03 headlight on passenger side, spray can job on the passenger fender, passenger side skirt held up by zip tie in the front connecting to the fender. Just roll on through for some good times. People will appreciate the work you put into your car, especially because you do it all yourself.

As someone who lives on the wrong coast, you are lucky to be able to attend that show. Id roll up no matter what my G looked like. The G in project mode, you should be proud of that, its better than saying its in the shop and someone else is doing the work.

+ 1 obamamillion. Not that there's anything wrong with taking it to a shop, it's just that when you do something yourself, there's more pride and more of an accomplishment involved.

^ Just FYI for you DIY'ers - it feels pretty damned good as well on this side of the coin having no discernable DIY skills whatsoever
