Very nice!

I have seen a coupe this color but never a sedan. Such a classy choice.

Naughty, did you happen to use Chromirox by Cosmichrome – or something similar over the base coat by any chance?

F'ing sweet. Color choice is very nice. If I had my choice, that would be it.

I hope so. Still need to make up my mind on the mirrors and get them painted. My inspection sticker is expired also so I need to get it to my buddys shop. The whole interior is ripped apart from redoing the interior plastics too.

Its chrome effect paint – can be used alone or with base coat… I recently was referred to a guy out here that does some phenomenal work – custom paint application and specializes in chrome – he has a special machine and technique that lays down actual chrome like material (not the paint stuff I mentioned, a different method) – he did a car for Pimp My Ride… I spoke to him today to ask about black chrome paint job and he can do it for about $20-$25K! The process requires the panels being painted to be vertical, so for things like a roof they put the car on a rotisserie… anyway, I’m not going to spend 25 grand in a paint job, so we talked about other alternatives (that are still pricey) and the product I mentioned in other post is one he uses…

I thought your paint looked like it might have a bit of a chrome-over-color look… I guess not.

The funny thing is my tattoo artist told me about a place called “Coast Airbrush” to get some ideas for my car… I have a touch up guy that uses this place too… I was told that it would open up a bunch more ideas to my current project – and lord knows, it did… I kinda wish I never knew about the things I’ve learned in the last 2 days – every time I think I’m nearing an end, something perks my interest to go a bit deeper
