Talking My recently acquired ride

I cant say this car is new because it used to be my dads, but i just recently bought it from him and i have started to do some little things to it. I dont have enough cash for anything big because i still have to finish paying him for the car, so what do you guys recommend for some extreme budget modding that would make my g look better.

So far i have replaced that sh*t radio and installed subs, and i have also added a nice little touch by putting a rag over the 3rd brake light to stop all of the rattling from the subs. I also plan on getting a new smaller box because the one in there right now leaves me with no trunk space.

well i resized those pics because i thought they were to big but now they are too small. How can i fix this and make them look normal?

Is the colour SS or BS? (sand or silver)

Nice double din, you should put and LCD in there...make up for the fact you don't have nav.

Looks good man, what are your plans for the car?

well the color looks like a champagne silver, im not sure of the exact color because when i asked my dad what the specific color was he gave me a dumb look and said silver.

I wish i could put a nav in it but im only 17 and right now all my money is goin in to payin for it, and as of right now i dont have a job, but its ok i have a garmin but i have been livin in atl for my whole life so i have a pretty good i dea of where im goin, but the pioneer DEH P6000 is good enough for me

and im not goin for eny real expensive mods but over time i want to get
the lower sills painted
tinted 20% all the way around and maybe a slight chance of 35 on the windsheild
maybe lower it and put some m45 rims on it or some other infiniti rims
cold air intake
throttle body spacer
catback exhaust

thats all i can think of right now but tint is what is #1 it gets hot as hell in my car, but these mods will be over a long period of time since my parents arent payin for any of it and i dont have a job

I'm 18 man, get a job!

I'm done school in less than a week and then start working full time. Can't wait to see what I end up doing to my car haha.

Good choice with mods thus far.

I think I need to re-calibrate my screen, all the colours are looking off. But If he says champagne silver I would guess serrengetti sand. (no idea how to spell that)

Haha i wish i had a job but with the crappy economy all the adults are taking high schooler jobs and with me playing hockey 5 days a week it is tough findin a job.

I want to put a tb spacer and cold air intake on my car, because i dont really know much about engines and upgrades of that sort, i only said those because my friend put those on his truck and it made the low end significantly faster, but engine upgrades are at the end of my mod list so by the time i get to my engine i will hope to know more.

every time i try to post a pic that is bigger it always gets resized down to the same small size, could someone explain to me how to make he pictures bigger, the normal size of the pics is around 1068x801

thanks

What's he drive an s10?

Most trucks get TB spacer, we get plenum spacers. Read into the plenum spacer, you will probably get more of a gain from that than a TB spacer. Don't spend too much on an intake because you will not gain any power. Just make it sound bad ***. I suggest a Z tube with a pop charger or rev up air box. Search around and you'll find lots of info on those.

If you don't have a photobucket account, make one. Once you start taking tonnes of pictures of your car you'll need one haha. That will help you with the sizing, plsu then we don;t have to use crappy thumbnails.

oh ok i didnt know there was a difference in the 2 i just knew it was something with the word spacer in it. And that is exactly what i want, my car to sound bad***.

Haha ok, those thumbnails suck. Ill go make a photobucket account right now and then ill put the pics up. Ill see if i can find a pic of my friends truck, i think it is pretty badass and i dont even like trucks
