My Car had a little plastic surgery

Thanks for the comments guys… Mark, I am by no means a “god” – that status is reserved for caskyline, rookie and Marty – I’m just a peon… but I do usually end up with what I say I’m gonna do (I don’t know how/when I will do the suicide doors and chop top though )
As for the wheels – yeah, it sux that they got gnarly while in the shop – but I had to keep them on instead of the stockers so the body guy had reference where to line up the fender (I guess stockers wouldn’t have been that bad, probably would have ended up the same). And yes, know I can run much more agressive offsets - I've been looking aroun, we'll see... I might just run 25mm spacers for a while.
Color… hmmm… well… about that – most people will probably be disappointed that it is just another shade of grey… it’s a Porsche color = Meteor Grey Metallic… color choice was the only thing that hung me up on this project… Everything else was a done deal – I knew what I was after, I told the shop and they made it happen… but I never intended to change color, I was gonna keep it DG – its such a great color (and now I will probably always be jealous of the guys that have that color).. but everyone I know (except for gf) said I should do a color change… it makes sense I guess, the entire car had to be painted anyway (engine bay included)… I toyed with the idea of different blues – but in the end I just dig grey… so this is a bit darker and more smokey than DG.
My idea for this project was simply to correct the things I didn’t like about the car… and to do it in a way that wasn’t real in your face and crazy… in fact, I wanted it to look like it could have come from the factory this way – so people that aren’t familiar with the car don’t even really know its custom (but they don’t know what it is either)… so I didn’t want t a crazy color – I noticed that dark grey on new cars today are what light grey on new cars were 5-8 yrs ago… dark is the new light grey.
So like it or not Grey Ghost lives!

I really didn’t do the fenders in order to run different wheels… just to get rid of the ugly flat edge and go retro with a bit of a lip… I really think fender lip will be more common going forward – possibly OEM again?
I suppose I coulda went with a true wide body and run crazy aggressive offsets… but that really wasn’t what I’m after…
Just a subtle different look – I’ve always tried to keep it that way… just this time got a little more than subtle (but still pretty mellow, considering…)

Props for doing some mods that ive never seen done on a sedan. Some of the stuff is subtle, and ur right, non-g owners wouldnt even tell that you made a difference. But trust me, any g enthusiast will be like dammmnn, hahaha. Congrats on the new project!!!!
p.s let me know if you are gonna sell those wheels!! Im interested (you will have to clean them first), lol
