I have no idea what this color is called officialy. I've heard it called "Battleship Grey" before. The first time I saw it was on a Ferarri a while back and I've liked it ever since.

Here is a chop my friend (thanks Rudy ) did for me that I thought I'd share. I've always loved white cars but as always, I'm in for a change



The color scheme I'm basically going for in the pics below of the BMW. Black roof, black window trim (coming soon on my G) and some other black accents. Keeping my brushed finish wheels and ofcourse my JDM clear corners (I forgot to put them on for the pic posted above)

I dig the IP more, partially because the paint on the photoshop looks a lil dull!!! That is a sick paint job on that beamer though, I think if it was more glossy I'd dig it!!

 

There is better options.

Pick a colour that pops something with a crazy metal flake.

I agree with 4gds.. I think you should pick something that pops a little more.. the bimmer would look better black IMO or something more glossy

I honestly don't like it much. Audi TT's came a similar ( if not the same ) and I never cared much for it.

Chris, I think like IP better than that color. I agree that Apline White would be dope but a couple of IPs (coupes) have already made that change. Whatever you do get a color that pops and stands out from the rest!

 

"Battleship" grey is the $hyt. I'm not sure about that dull glossy grey on the beemer.

looks sick and is a change for sure Chris, but I would stick with IP. Maybe, like others have said, get a different shade of white. Maybe like the lexus IS. That white pearl with the flakes in it. Much more brighter white with a little extra pop. Someone did it on their coupe I believe.
