Contemplating a new color for next year
Yeah, I spent some time in turmoil over color... but I really liked my OEM color so that made it harder.

Chris I say dont do bsg its played out. Go with a color that will pull peoples attention and give the judges the "wow affect". For instance look through the House of Kolors book, I'm sure you will find a great color. I say IP but change it up and add more pearl! Or go with house of kolors "Rootbeer kandy coat" and do a dark base coat
Hit up the paint thread on Zilvia.net. Its a sticky and has tons of colors with codes. Its a great place to start. 240 guys love color changes and they will give you many more choices and help drive you color crazy. If you have a freind that paints see if you can play with the bank for a little bit and look through the color books. To bad I wasn't closer or I color make some test panels for ya.

^Great stuff Steve!
Thanks guys got the suggestions. I appreciate it. Man, I can see how nuts I'm gonna be with all the colors lol No dark ones for me though, I'm pretty set on not doing a dark color.

Thanks Mike
You got it right....its the maintaining I don't want. I take good care of my car and paint but I know I wouldn't be up to the challenge of a dark color lol. I have less and less time as each year passes
um....I do have a car cover though....hmmm

I agree with sticking to a light color for ease of maintenance. Problem is that limits your choices a lot. I like the idea of the battleship gray. Not sure how it is played out...I've never seen anything like it on a car in person. I think a red sedan would look pretty sweet, but red isn't the easiest color to maintain either.

Chris you should do House of Kolors "Kandy Rootbeer" or somewhat similar to my Honda's color. Heres how my civic looks with my paint job
