Not yet, I haven't done it. I'm going to do it this weekend as I really don't have time to work on this right now.
if you can get that tape to go around the fat angled part.....you will be the new MC vinyl master flex! haha.

I recommend tucking the top of the vinyl inside the rubber thingy right above it for a cleaner look, and as far as the thick angled part there's not much you can do except buy a sheet of flat black vinyl

G Sedan, Why not moke up the shape of the upper chrome and go to one of those sticker places abd have then cut it up..will probably be cheaper thana pro-vynil shop.

other than paint - this is the only decent option IMO... everyone that talks about "the bimmer guys" this is what most of them do.Originally Posted by MEXTEP

Before I painted (the first time), I went to Modern Image (vinyl graphics place in HB) and asked them if they could cut to fit - they said yes... but they didn’t have the color I wanted (smoked at the time).
So - yes... if you don’t paint, at least get it professional cut to fit.
I don't see why I need to pay a professional to cut something when I can cut it myself. The tape i bought is a high grade vinyl, I even put quick detailer over a test strip and it looked awesome.
The only part I am taking to the vinyl shop is the rear part where I couldn't do it on my own. And this is with my friend owning his own vinyl shop (G2 Graphics). Same guy that did my ray's center caps and the wilwood logos on my BBK. I'm just not gonna bother him with this when I could've taken care of it on my own. He is cutting my rear piece this weekend though.

Guys that wrap cars with vinyl for a living will usually do a much better job than the avg do it yourselfer… Kinda like paint – anyone can do it, but not everyone can do it real well.
