Finally, my wheels have arrived...

Edit 2:
Here are a few pictures I took in Chiba (千葉) today. When I was driving here I knew I had to get a picture

In the parking garage on the Aqua Line.

EDIT:
The wait is over. Of course it's raining so these aren't the best pics.
The wheels are Vossen VVS-078's. The first for a sedan that I know of. The drop is not final and I have to roll my fenders some more.
-Rear 20x10.5 +45 275/30R20
-Front 20x9.0 +36 245/35R20

I've been waiting for my wheels for a while. They are finally here. Here are some teasers. First time I've ever done that :P I'll post real pics once they are mounted and fitted.

Rear (photo shopped the model number out )

Front

Rear tires

Their home for that last 3 months

The coilovers to allow for some tuckage

Current drop with the unfortunate state of events for my past wheels.

Tirerack has such nice bags for their tires.

When are they going to be on the car?

Hopefully soon. I'm currently on vacation so I don't have to worry about work right now. My kids are sick though, so that might hamper the speed of getting these installed. The plan is to hit up a few shops tomorrow to get estimates as well as to see who can/will roll my rear fenders.

I remember looking at the S.Drives. Honestly, I think the performance for the 760's speak for themselves. I'll pay a little more now to have peace of mind later.

I like the coils. I can tell I have a bit more grip in the turns but with worn out front tires I really can't risk really pushing it to hard. (on the edges my fronts are just about slicks now) The rear is a little ruff though. A little bit bouncier than stock, but not bad.

Spent most of the day in the hospital (son has a fever and a history of seizures/pneumonia). I'm finally in a shop to see if they can do it. I've been to two others so far. Most shops are scared to roll fenders here, which I think is good. I'll hopefully get a better roll because of it :crosses fingers:

I liked the Boss wheels as well. Unfortunately their quality didn't match the look. I bought them second hand (big mistake). Two of them were/are cracked on the inner barrel and all four wobble. I thought these new wheels were 3 piece, but now that I have them I don't think they are. Because of this I think I should have held out a little bit longer to get those River-Side wheels I was looking at last year. It would have been at least a grand more...

I think you have to buy those, when I ordered from tirerack they didnt come like that. But I placed an order for these tire totes on summit racing. They're the exact same thing just different brand. It was about $54 shipped for all 4. They're great for storage!

PSEdog, can't wait to see it. Made in Taiwan that's whats up!!!

Curious about reviews on those tires. Please give us some after you put some miles on them.

The wheels and tires are in the shop right now. The place is doing it for about $40. Crazy cheap considering they are pulling two tires off of my old wheels and are balancing them. In the US I was quoted $180 and got a "steal" when I found a place to do it for $120.

The tire covers were extra. They are made for storing your wheels in the winter. Or even a track set.
