The look what I bought thread
^ Nice, Tim. How long did it take for you to break down and get coils?
I had z/coupe springs for 1.5 years before I purchased a 350z stech FR/350z htech rear springs set to be put on...before I said to hell with it and got my Tein CS's.....shoulda just got 'em in the first place

A little over a year. I put H Techs on last June (09) and then swapped out to S Techs and Z struts a couple of months ago. Like you I should have listened to the advice on here and went with coils from the start. I think what I've spent in tires, alignments, springs, and struts would have paid for the coils.
Oh well live and learn, can't wait for these bad boys to get here.

Thanks guys I'm looking forward to it as well. To snoop and JO I looked long and hard at the F&F and BC and almost pulled the trigger on the BCs. However, as I continued to research I decided to spend a little more money and get a system that had a more comfortable ride than those 2 but still with dampening and a good amount of available drop.
That's why I went with the Tanabe, they have gotten excellent reviews in a number of car forums. Kinda weird that not many people on here run them. I know OCG35 bought a set of the Pro S-OC and really liked them. I got a smoking deal on the Pro 5s from a vendor on here, and just couldn't pass them up. I also looked at HKS and Bilstein but decided not to spend that much, I'm not that big a balla!!

Coilovers are always the way to go...nice pickup. In the long run, as you already mentioned, you will need to spend more money...coilovers just make sense even if you don't plan on lowering them to their full capacity.
this is true.. i keep seeing the same post by the guys who put springs on. " gotta wait till the springs settle" or " i'll get coilovers later on". you save more money on just getting coils in the beginning.

At least I finally came to my senses.
Some ^ (him, him, him!) are just more stubborn than others but eventually, they climb aboard the "I should have just gone coils to begin with" bus
