Got a killer deal on this the other day. 3.5 rear diff with only 40k miles on it.

I don't think it's a VLSD. It's from an 03 350Z 6mt base model. I figure I can get a VLSD down the road if I can find a good one locally. This deal was too good to pass up. The VLSD's around here were all high miles (75k+), so the VLSD probably wasn't working anymore anyways

Turn one of the spindles. If the other side spins in the same direction, it's a vlsd

Chris I thought the other wheel would turn in the opposite direction if it's a VLSD.

Ah yeah, I didn't even think of doing that while it was off the car.

Well, I just tried now and it spins the same direction, so looks like it IS VLSD

Open diff spins in the other direction...vlsd spins in the same.

Congrats on the pickup ryan...looks like the deal just got that much sweeter

Hey for the guys that have bc coils, how low did they come from factory should i adjust them before i install them, im not lOoking to be slamed, just a functional driving height.
