THANKS!!!!! Color matched bases, window trim and door handles... your write up helped lot but the bcm layout was completely different... I still need to install switch and tuck wires.. Been a pain in the ***! Every time we try to tuck the wires something comes loose and would stop working... Seems like the signals jump? Right now it works just fine with it all laid out on my floor mat, but as soon as I try to tuck it a wires get moved it either loses power, signal jumps or wires get loose??? It's been a headache. So I'm leaving it all out until i can figure why it stops working when I move it to tuck???

What year is yours? We pretty much had to start from scratch on the bcm lay out.. I think the key fob, alarm and the door lock actuator is tied in some how bc every time I power lock/unlock my door manually the power folds are triggered. Is that normal?

 

Yes that is normal. Any lock/unlock signal will do it even if it's from the door switch. They all actuate the same function in the BCM that the mirrors are getting triggered from.

As for your wiring issues, that sounds like a bad connection, that's all. You need to go over all connections. How did you make the connections, solder? If not you might have to re-do the crimping, etc.

ok thanks!! we still need to install the switch that is why we havent soldered anything yet.. will do so as soon as we figure out where the loose wire are at we'll solder them.

what do you suggest i solder? everything?
