What's the average price of a 3.5 differential, and average cost for labor without getting bent over without lube?

No idea on cost...I paid $350 I think which I was told was a good price. Labor...free cause I'm installing it myself

^^^It def does not increase your gas mileage. It is shorter gearing so you'll reach your desired RPMS faster in every gear.
Thanks and good call Grant. I'll have to see if I can source a set this week.

It did for me because I went down to the 3.3.
I went down 700rpm on the freeway in 6th gear at 80mph.

Dang! That's nice. I hate driving at 80 mph and doing over 3k. Wouldn't that in turn save on gas though?

As Marcus said, big difference in low end grunt and acceleration.

My gas mileage went down on freeway trips by almost 2 mpg but around town it didn't change a bit. I'm running almost 300 RPMs higher at 80 than the 3.3 did.

All in all it was a very worthwhile mod. If someone has a shop install it it shouldn't cost much more than $100 in labor as it's about an hour and a half job.
