SD-G-G-G-Genius UPDATES!!!
nah, i asked my guy if he was gonna use the HR buckets, he said no. he said he he's been using some custom ordered one's but yeah, he said the DLC coating could add 10-15hp too. my 3.7fd+transgo setup is not for the faint of heart after cams, it can get pretty violent. it's almost like you can feel the car squat w/the shift, i'm just glad i have 275's on the rear.
My best on the same wheels was 14.2 before cams.

yeah, your car is pretty BEAST. lighter wheels would be crazy on your ride, the heavy wheels probably aren't hurting you as much in straight line as they do in the bends though. looking forward to your long tube results too, hope it unlocks more power across the board.
If there are SG like gains I plan to run on the 20's friday night with nothing removed (spare, floor jack) then on saturday throw on my 18's with my 15in DR's and shoot for 12's N/A in a 5AT if I'm not already there.

okay guys, so i've been looking into a 1pc carbon fiber drive-shaft. called ACTP, they directed me to Powertrain Industries. i guess ACPT has taken a step back into just manufacturing and leaving sales up to Powertrain since they assemble the shafts there. so they've already cataloged both 1pc shafts and 2pc direct replacements for the 1st gen MT & AT, so they don't need to destroy an OEM one to do so anymore. they also offered free install since they're interested in the project. it's a 7-10 day lead time for the build, pretty excited just need to make sure there'll be no clearance issues w/the switch from a 2pc to a 1pc before i put my order in.

i'm really excited about this piece, should decrease drive-train loss by 5% and reduce overall weight as well, also may even smooth out power delivery from what i've read. oh, and it'll also be BONKERS on my mod list, LOL
I'm certainly not a physicist... but I analyzed the mods I did and this one didnt really make sense at the time (but that entailed a lot of money and destroying OEM shaft - without even knowing if a one-piece would work for sure)... again, if it's developed and proven, maybe it's worth a shot.
