Can you incorporate the stock grill no? I think the stock grill, or emblemless grill would fit it perfectly. But it looks good. KuRookie > K2 > Nismo

How come the pockets for the side markets weren't cut to size when you bought it?

Quote: Yea I just went outside and looked at it and they are stress cracks. I'm gonna be doing all the prep and painting so I'll take care of it. Thanks!
Its no biggie. Ive seen some people try to just spray over it. It may look good for about a month until the paint shrinks from hardening and the the cracks start to show especially if you wax or polish as the residue will get into the cracks. I would suggest sanding down the whole thing and put 3-4 good layers of primer to seal the fiberglass. That method always worked for me. Cant wait to see it painted

I used to work at cornhusker and ft crook, but I live in Plattsmouth. I looked at your pics and I really like your car. We should get a g club started this summer! Yea I don't like the mesh either, I'm working on that.

I want to use my stock grill, but it requires some cutting. I think it would look so much better with it and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go for it.

That's a good question! I just used my stock metal brackets off the oem bumper and riveted them into the k2. They work a lot better and is definitely more solid.

Thanks, I'll do that for sure. I can't wait for it to be painted either!!

thanks for the comment

I like it (your K2) - I think it's a nice option (something sedans haven't had much of)... I prefer the Kurookie, but I like this K2 over Nismo... it's a good choice ~

FWIW, I think the mesh would look better in black and if you were to come up with something creative/different for the grille that would really set it off!

just my opinion though - which isn't as valued as what you like for your car... enjoy your recreation, it looks like you have some nice stuff in the works

Thanks!!! I have been checking out customcargrill.com for some better mesh, and I will paint it black. I want to get rid of the integrated grill and replace it with my oem grill, something like this:

Looking good, i prefer the kurookie over the k2, but k2 is my second favorite.

Cant wait for final pics, definately get black mesh and do the integrated grille!
