pic request vis techno r ( nismo rep) rear lip

I have searched high and low for actuall pics of this on a car, or better pics of it. but from what I can tell it almost looks like the 03-04 sedan rear nismo lips....

can anyone help out? Ive searched on our forums, but someone only has the front bumper and skirts on, and i checked up googles skirt, still cant find any real pics there other than the one on the vis site....

I'm sure you found this thread already based on your post.

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-techno-r.html

ray1370 says that the rear lip won't fit without serious modification since it was 1+ inches too short.

Here is another opinion about the rear from that thread:

Have you looked into the Stillen rear lip, fitment is dead on from what I've seen.

He's got an 03/04. You can tell based on his front grill.

^^ thanks for the posts CandlestickPark. Yeah it's too short, reason being VIS molded their rear lip from JDM 03-04 sedan, which has shorter rear bumpers than the USDM we have here. Another difference is that the VIS one has a indented section in the middle for the license plate that we don't have on the USDM rear Nismo rear lip. I ended up returning the VIS rear lip and order it from Riverside Infiniti. Any other questions just let me know.

Excellent info, thanks for sharing. You would think that VIS would redo their mold, they can't be sellng to many of those lips with fitment that poor.

I was a noob at that time, and didn't know JDM rear was different, so I couldn't tell them what exactly went wrong with the rears when I returned it. As far as I know the VIS Techno R was the only Nismo replica I could find at that time; maybe if they fixed the rear the kit would sell better.
