R&J should hook you up with a repaint since the color is off right?

Congrats Aaron on finally getting the sick trunk! This is Dave (formerly superkid94). When I got my MG trunk painted I actually had them blend into the quarters to make sure there's a good match.

Glad to see the Hikkata Dori trunk lid installed - the car is looking great! Can't wait to see more pics.

BTW - what did you mean by removing the "feet" on the passenger side to get better fitment? What's the "feet"?

Overall I really like the trunk, but the fact the rear taillights still don't line up still bugs me. Is it possible to make them match or have you done as much adjusting as you can?

I've done as much I can, I do have the very 1st production trunk, so it fits a lil different than the others. I think your best bet is to get others who hve it to post better high res photos to see if you truly like it.

Anyone else have pics of this trunk installed? I'm seriously considering it but I won't get serious unless I know it can have perfect fitment. I realize it's an aftermarket piece, but I still expect it to fit well.

Here is a pic of the guide I was telling you about. Don't elongate the holes. I think that might mess things up for you. Make sure this guide is all the way back (or is it forward?...you'll get the idea when you see the guide) after you loosen up the bolts.

Thanks for the extra info, ill give this a shot as well.
