Smile Painted my grill

Just got my grill painted here are some pics. Used the Duplicolor Metalcast (Smoke color). Sorry for the crappy pics... my camera broke so I have to use my phone for now

Left the Mt. Fuji chrome:


In the sun:

From afar + my shadow:


I like how it turned out... thanks for looking!

haha... should I leave the Mt. Fuji chrome or paint it gloss black???

Grille looks nice, leave the Mt. Fuji emblem chrome the contrast works....

Looks good. I've got a silver sedan as well and I was thinking of doing something similar now that I might have a gunmetal theme to my car. I was also debating, if I don't get a kit, painting my lowers a gunmetal just to be different.

Looks nice, did you paint the headlights and mask off certain areas???

My friend used to work @ a body shop so he helped paint my headlights & grill. The headlights were painted back in Dec '09 & my grill just barely got painted. I believe he just painted the housing part w/ gloss black.

Cool, I like how he did it. Doesn't look overkilled with black from what I can see in the pics it looks like he masked off certain areas to leave more of the chrome/polish appearance. At least that what it looks like to me in the pics. I like it! Nice car.
