G SEDAN search and rescue mission

This is the latest pickup. I can barely hold my excitement right now. When it's all done and over with, I will be able to go on search and rescue missions with the couple sedans on this board that have pioneered this project. Ever since Tim (ttrank) had these a few years ago, I've been drooling and dreaming about having my own. Recently, my boy Stephen (r1forever) throws out the bomb and reignites this dream within me, and I pulled the trigger.

I was sooooooo lucky to have found a guy who had almost everything I wanted/needed. This was a great opportunity for me, because I was expecting to wait a few months piecing all the pieces together. He gave me a decent deal on these, and I am now ready to go. Don't get me wrong, this still cost me an arm and a leg I chose the S2k and TL projectors because they have long been known as the best projectors on the market as far as output, beams pattern, and cut offs. The Denso projectors were an easy choice, it has the toyota reliability, one of the best on the market, and the slim version makes it very possible to mount inside of the headlight!

So project is underway after the Socal HB meet. I have a top secret expert helping me out, we shall reveal his identity when he wishes, or when the project completes! so stay tuned.

Part List:
2 x TL bi-xenon projector with clear ZKW lense upgrade
2 x matching vin S2000 clear lense projectors
2 x Denso Slim HID ballast
4 x Phillips 4300k D2S HID bulbs
4 x BMW style shroud
2 x TL fresnel lenses (for the turn signals)

picture showing fresnel vs clear lenses for the TL projector

Clear vs fresnel

entire package laid out in front of the G

Close up of the TL and S2k projectors

The other pair of the TL and S2k projectors

Phillips, nothing but the best

shroud, up close

Showing you how compact the denso slims are

Not much in thickness, hopefully will fit inside the headlight

Toyota/lexus (aka denso) ballasts

TLS with the shrouds, will need to trim

The big solenoid for the bi xenon

MMMM s2k

Body of the S2k projectors, will need to cut the brackets out

TL projector bodies

Its huge

Major fire POWA!

Update June 20:

test fit/aim on my installers ride

close up of the mounting, housing not installed

test fit of lense (it fits), test fit of housing (it fits), now the shroud, housing, and lense rings will get a fresh coat of gloss black to tie it all together Before that, the wiring will all be tucked away and hid, so don't worry.

Haha, no worries homie. With my 2nd kid arriving in the coming weeks I'm ballin' on a budget. But I'll have quad projectors too (putting clear lenses in my turn signals.)
