Of chrome
I know a lot of people swear that chrome rims don't belong on a G so if you're one of those people please avert your eyes or get your Haterade ready.
If you're brave enough to check out the pics scroll down and witness my bravery. 5Zigen Gravis1 8.5X19 and 9.5X19 both rims +38. The rims are in great shape with little to no rash on any of them.
These are quick pics as I think the tire sizes suck so that's being addressed. 235/35 Front and 275/30 rear Nitto 555s came with the rims with plenty of tread on the rears and some unusual wear on the outside of the fronts. The fronts will eventually get a 10 MM spacer and the rears will have to wait until I get different tire sizes on the rims to assess the need. I think I'll end up with 245/40 Front and 255/35 rear but I need to do some more research. Enough talk, pardon the crappy point and shoot. I think there's something wrong with it because it used to take pretty clear pics. I definitely need coils..........

Thanks for looking

They dont look bad at all. I have chrome 20's on my car for now and they really arent that bad.
As far as your tire sizes, i would NOT go with 245/40 front and 255/35 rear. The front diameter will be greater than the rear. I'd go with a 255/40 in the rear if you want the 245/40 up front. Otherwise 245/35F 255/35R will look good. Or you could do 225/45F 255/40R

Not now. I have always wanted the Gravis1 but they are super hard to find. A friend texted me 2 nights ago 'cuz he found these close to us on Craigslist. Just had to make sure they were in good condition and jumped on them like white on rice!!
Fat's not my thing.
22# front and 24# rear. Each wheel weighs 3# more than the Rays.
Good call. I needed to do more research and your right. According to the tire calculator the 255/40 is a better fit. The tires on the rims now are harsh as hell. I miss the comfy ride ot the 40 series.
Everyone else, thanks for the kind words. I love these rims even though the Hyper Silver finish would have been my first choice. Now my wheels match my plenum.
Yeah I'm weird like that.
