Very well could be. I haven't washed my wheels since I had them. I always used quick detail on them. Been afraid to really try something. But I need to wash them because I want to re-apply the poorboys wheel seal.

Wheels that are cleared like SSRs.. IMO treat it just like you would treat your car paint..

Car Wash + Dry + Wax

I totally agree. Mine are nowhere near SSR so with that, I want to take extra care of my clearcoat. I'll probably just use the meguiars car wash soap.

I use the soap from the gun at the local DIY car wash. I park my car in a common area garage so no place to wash my car at my condo building.

For my car I use the "pre-soak" and the "soap" but only use the "soap" on my wheels cause I don't want the pre-soak stuff jacking up the finish on my wheels (it may not but better to but I'd rather play it safe). I also use Smart Wax detailer spray to clean the wheel faces and lips.

If I were to wash it at home I would use SmartWax/Chemical guys products, nothing harsh on the wheels for sure.

Nice, I'll check them out. Might as well swap all of my LEDs over to BAUS

Cool I just bought some of the Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detail(purple stuff). Now I'm eager to see how it does on my wheels. Should be better than the Meguiars Quick Detail I was using.
