i remember seeing detailed pics of the process of the 03-04 sedan door molding delete .
it showed the holes under the molding and another pic with the round coin like blanks of metal tack welded to start to seal the holes left by the molding delete . can anyone remember what thread it was in . i think it was someone overseas that repainted to a drk brownish color ..

the pics showed the exterior of the door with the round blanks showing through the holes left by removing the molding .

ive tried searching in as many threads as i can think of .

Dont have a pic, but when i shaved my moldings i believe there is 4 or 5 holes in front door and 3 or 4 in the back

 

Good luck, unless your the man with a mig welder and can minimize the heat transfer then your doors are gonna have more waves than the Pacific ocean.
